3. HIGHEST QUALITY COACHING AND TRAINING
Simply put, the best coaches are coaches who know,
understand, and employ the most effective concepts of training. At South Carolina
Juniors, we take pride in assuring that you get the highest quality coaching and training. We emphasize proper
technical skills while employing the most current motor development, and movement training concepts. In addition,
the trademarks of our program include heavy repetition, and busy practices, as well as coaches who combine for a record 12
Region, District, and Division School Championships.
4. MOST COMPLETE JUNIOR OLYMPIC PROGRAM
SC
Juniors offers the 4th largest program in South Carolina and the largest, most established, and most complete program in
the Midlands! Starting from Kids Power, athletes have access to the resources, equipment, coaching, and facilities to
take their performance to the next level. For many, this kid to college program means graduating debt free from
college! If you want the absolute best for your kids, start your children young.
5. PRACTICE UP TO FOUR TIMES A WEEK
Depending on
the level of the team, teams normally practice two to three times a week. In addition, players have the option to attend
additional practices with teams of a similar level at no additional charge. This year, players can sometimes practice
up to 4 times a week. Our National Teams will also experience a new program this year called Optimal Performance Training
(OPT).
6. TRAINING PAST THE REGULAR CLUB SEASON
We
are a great choice for players who are looking for ways to continue learning and training past the regular club season.
We offer a two month program called Phase II, and we also offer opportunities to compete in the AAU National Championships
held in Orlando, Florida. South Carolina Juniors has been sending teams to AAU Nationals for FIVE consecutive years!
7. THE VILLAGE AT SANDHILLS
Parents, you can conveniently shop, dine, run errands, or
even catch a movie while your children practice. Plex Indoor Sport is located in the new and bustling Village at Sandhills
in NE Columbia. This development is home to restaurants, stores, grocery shops, specialty shops, movie theaters, and
banks. Visit the Village at Sandhills at: http://www.villageatsandhillonline.com/map.php
8. FUN AS WELL AS COMPETITIVE TOURNAMENT PLAY
Kids Power plays in scheduled in-house games and matches at Plex Indoor Sports. Region Teams play
against other clubs in the Palmetto Region (tournaments are in and around South Carolina), and National Teams play against
others clubs in the Palmetto Region and beyond.
9. LEARN LIFE LESSONS, NOT JUST VOLLEYBALL
We believe that participation in sports provides
a wealth of opportunities and experiences. Aside from developing ideals and habits related to competition, teamwork,
and sportsmanship, players also have the opportunity to develop skills in a sport that can provide them with routines and
norms related to long-term health-related fitness as well as physically active lifestyles.
10. LIFELONG FRIENDSHIPS
Athletes who practice together and play together learn a lot
about building positive relationships with others. Most athletes who play club volleyball develop close friendships
and bonds with players from other backgrounds and other schools. As a result, the friendships that begin through club
often result in friendships that last a lifetime.
